ABOUT PILOT FLIGHT ACADEMY

Pilot Flight Academy is Europes most modern flightschool. We educate our students in top modern facilities, aircraft and simulators.

With more than 4000 square meters to our disposal and 160 students inhouse we educate tomorrows pilots at Oslo Sandefjord Airport.

The entire program is conducted in English at our modern school at Torp Airport Sandefjord during all kinds of weather, with flight training both in Norway and abroad. After graduation, you will be qualified for a job as a pilot with airlines.
Theory lessons are conducted in modern classrooms with new SmartBoards. The aircraft are new and highly modern with advanced instrumentation. We have state-of-the-art flight simulators, one of which is a Boeing 737NG simulator.
The school is open for our students 24/7, and the students use the school both on weekdays and weekends. We have a lively and active student environment. Our briefing room is a meeting place for students and instructors, and is also the “headquarters” for planning domestic and foreign flights and for exchanging experience and knowledge.

Our aircraft and simulators

Shines like a diamond

Our fleet of all new Diamond DA40 NG and DA 42 NG aircraft represents the most modern types of training aircraft on the market. They are all equipped with Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit, autopilot, traffic alert system (TAS) and flight director. The DA42 NGs has also TKS (fluid) de-icing system, and stormscope.
All aircraft are IFR certified and are used for both basic training and instrument flights.

Basic simulator

In our top-modern simulators, we train our students to a high standard in instrument procedures and emergency situations. The simulators are provided by Diamond Simulators. They represents an exact replica of the DA42NG-VI, the same twin engine aircraft as PFA are operating in its fleet.
All DA42 simulators are equipped with the same Garmin G1000 NXI glass-cockpit.

Boeing 737-800W Simulator

In our advanced Boeing 737 simulator we train for the Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC) and Jet Orientation Course (JOC). It is one of the most advanced types of simulators used on this type of training. The simulator is produced by the Manufacturer MPS, and is identical to the Boeing 737-800W cockpit. Our students are well prepared to take start their career as an Airline pilot after having completed their MCC/JOC on this advanced simulator.
